Penny and Aggie Keenspotted.

Just in time to begin our next storyline, "The Ticket," on Monday.

So basically, you can read the full-sized archives for free instead of as part of a Modern Tales subscription or the teeny-tiny Comics Sherpa archives. Good things for you!

Penny & Aggie's had a busy publication history, what with MT, Sherpa, Alias and a long, ultimately fruitless development period with the Washington Post Writer's Group. But I think Keenspot is likely to be the strip's online home for a long while. Good to be back with Maritza, Jeff, Jamie and the gang.

Welcome back, yo.

Didn't you kind of say something about Keenspot's model at SPX? And now you joined them--- that's kinda odd. I can't recall exactly what you said, but it was something about leaving Keenpspot with Fanns.... unless that was somebody else, but I'm positive it was you

I was the one pushing for it, really. And after discussing the options, we felt that Keenspot was the best one for Penny and Aggie's online presence.

But I went along with it. Lots of things have changed since SPX, too much to really go into here without taking up my whole evening. Suffice it to say: I wouldn't have brought Fans or Rip and Teri to Keenspot, but I think Penny & Aggie is right at home there.

What T has always said AFAIK is that the Keenspot model works better for some strips than other. Especifically speaking, KB size per individual strip counts at the time of making it profitable, for example.

(I have to point out that in the last months, this particular Keenspot limitation has been reduced and now bigger strips can still make money)

Ok-- that makes sense. I guess it was just the way he said it-- he seemed.. uncomfortable with Keenspot. Maybe 7 months has washed that all away. :)

I always thought the reason Fans! moved from Keenspot to Graphic Smash was that T became editor at GS, and that it would look bad if his comic was hosted somewhere else?

Yeah, that was part of it too. A lot of factors were in play.

After two years at Graphic Smash, I don't think anyone questions my commitment there.
