Superman is a Dick.
If you felt that the last episode of JLU had Superman a bit out of character, especially in the first few minutes-- National Lampoon begs to differ.

I think that Superman's been slowly built up to show how a Supes we like could become a Justice Lord. And he had been hitting close to that point, when suddenly there's Captain Marvel -- who not only is a child at heart, but is also everything Superman's slipping away from.
Resentment is natural. Plus... well, Supes is pretty used to being the top dog. He's not used to competition.
