Why Indeed?

Robert A. Howard tries to get at the root of Aggie's hatred for Penny. All I can say is, tune in Monday. Meantime, if you're into ads, check out the PNA November Newsbox.

Comments:
I have a couple theories on why Aggie continuously lashes out at Penny. One lies rooted in jealousy and the other on human nature.

The most simplistic reason could be that Aggie is jealous of Penny's lifestyle, where everything is essentially "Handed" to her. Silver spoon and all that.

The other reason is a lot more complex, where the nature of human beings needing to reach out to one another. Aggie doesn't really have anyone close to her in her life other than her Dad and her rat, both of which she already knows will love her unconditionally. So Aggie has issues connecting with another person, mainly because she doesn't know how to do it properly. It's like a child on the playground. Hit, throw things at, pull the hair of the other kid you have a crush on. Because you don't know how to show what you really feel, you can show that you do feel, by showing that you know how to make them mad. It illicits a response in them, and it's a form of connection. While not the type most desired, it's still a connection. And that's what Aggie wants. A connection with Penny.
