Pay-Per-PDF?
Thanks to William G for pointing out this latest exercise in pay-per-download. I wonder: now that the CDs are going off the market, would this be a viable business move for Fans?

The business case would be stronger for the Fans CD contents, if anything, since there's no "hard" version - it'd be digital whether you received it on disk or online. Personally I'd be happy to buy it as a download.
